RYOONO EXHIBITION

グラフィック、テキスタイル、壁画制作と幅広く活躍するRYOONOの新作展「タイトル未定」の開催をご案内申し上げます。
RYOONOは有機的で躍動感溢れるグラフィック・ワークを駆使し、アパレルや飲食企業の商業デザインとのコラボレーションで多くの作品を世に送り出し、高い評価を得てきました。

2008年に当ギャラリーで開催した個展では、鉛筆での描写をコラージュする作品で生命の本質的な「うねり」を描き出したRYOONOですが、本展では豊かさや生命力の象徴として植物のイメージを用い、連続する文様、パターンを表現の軸として展開します。

繰り返すことで「個」と「全体」の概念を行き来しながら、グラフィカルなクオリティーを徹底して追求しています。　
また、作品をデジタルデータ化してデータを販売するという新しい試みにも挑戦します。

活動開始から10周年を迎えるRYOONOの新作展、会場内に描かれる壁画と共にどうぞ、ご高覧ください。

hpgrp Gallery TOKYO is pleased to announce a solo exhibition by RYOONO who actively produces graphics, textiles and wall painting.

Lively and organic graphic work by RYOONO have been noticed through many collaboration work with apparel and food companies. The last solo exhibition in 2008, RYOONO expressed the idea of “undulation” by collage works with very fine pencil drawing. In this exhibition, images of plants and animals used as symbols of wealth and vitality, with a graphic representation of a continuous pattern. RYOONO focuses on the idea of "partial" and "whole" while pursuing graphical quality.
RYOONO also tries a new attempt to sell a piece of digital data. RYOONO celebrates his 10th anniversary since he started working as a freelancer.

RYOONO

RYOONO started his career as a freelancer in 2000.
He has done many wall painting, package design, textile design and graphics in fashion, beauty and club scene. He has completed the ceiling painting at restaurant in Mexico.
